Após quase uma semana no país, com três shows para 270 mil pessoas e abertura do Muse, o U2 fez história no Brasil mais uma vez. Na última apresentação do grupo irlandês no Morumbi, como é de praxe, a banda recebeu um artista local para uma participação especial. Tinha gente apostando em Gilberto Gil ou até mesmo em alguém do Sepultura, mas o escolhido foi o Seu Jorge. Junto de Bono e The Edge, Seu Jorge cantou “The Model”, do Kraftwerk, que está no seu álbum “Seu Jorge e Almaz”. O resultado ficou até bacana, apesar de uma galera pedir para tocar Raul.
O termo “histórico” para essa passagem do U2 ao país não se resume apenas pelos shows, veja bem. O noticiário “de bastidores” envolvendo Bono Vox foi bem interessante.
Esqueça os encontros políticos com a Dilma, o Lula, os ministros, a vontade de mudar o mundo. Bono se jogou na noite de São Paulo. Só faltou falar “Eu sou paulista” em um dos shows (não falou, né?). De domingo para cá, foram vários os relatos. “Bono fica até 5h da manhã no bar Número”, “Bono comeu bacalhau no A Bela Cintra”, “Bono bebeu vodca e está rouco”, “Bono comeu coxinha e tostex”, “Bono vai ao O’Mallye’s e não paga a conta”. Enfim, Bono causando.
A fama do Bono com as coxinhas ficou tamanha nos últimos dias que um fã esperto foi para a porta do hotel na tarde de ontem e, ao invés de pedir um autógrafo ou uma foto com o ídolo, resolveu levar de presente uma… coxinha.

Após o show de ontem, Bono se jogou na balada com o Ronaldo (para quem ele ofereceu “Get On Your Boots”) e foram para o Bar Secreto, o endereço das estrelas tipo Madonna, Daft Punk (brincando) e Lucioland (brincando 2). Ontem, no Bar, era uma noite de karaokê. E Bono tascou um “Psycho Killer” do Talking Heads, enquanto o Fenômeno mandou “Satisfaction”, dos Stones… Está bom ou não?
