Os criadores de alguns dos maiores sucessos da televisão mundial e do mundo geek se juntarão para um dos paineis mais interessantes e aguardados da Comic-Con 2010: J.J. Abrams e Joss Whedon serão os convidados principais no stand da Entertainment Weekly chamado “Os Visionários”. A escolha não poderia ter sido mais apropriada: J.J. Abrams nos trouxe LOST, Alias, Fringe, Felicity e o filme Star Trek (2009) e Joss Whedon é o pai das séries Buffy, The Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly e Dollhouse. Ambos mudaram significativamente o panorama das séries de TV na última década e o tema das discussões será o futuro da cultura pop. Os dois debaterão sobre como a tecnologia, os jogos de vídeo game e a cultura global estão remodelando a forma de como se conta e recebe histórias na televisão, nos filmes e na Internet. Os cultuados showrunners pretendem trazer uma visão de como estará o universo do entretenimento daqui uma década. Ambos devem falar também sobre seus últimos projetos; J.J. com a sequência de Star Trek e da série The Undercovers e Joss contará os detalhes do filme de terror Cabin In The Woods e do antecipado The Avengers. O painel será mediado por Jeff “Doc”Jensen, redator da revista Entertainment Weekly e responsável por muitos artigos e teorias sobre LOST. “Os Visionários” acontecerá no próximo dia 22 de Julho em San Diego.
