Ao ser flagrado saindo de um restaurante de Milão às 2h30 da manhã de sexta-feira, a primeira reação de Ronaldinho Gaúcho foi se esconder. Ele tinha consciência, portanto, que a postura não era a mais adequada para um jogador cujo time entraria em campo no dia seguinte, sábado, pelo Campeonato Italiano.
Segundos depois de tentar ocultar o rosto, ao se dar conta que já tinha sido filmado, sua atitude foi louvável: o jogador impediu que um de seus amigos, um troglodita de apelido Gibão, intimidasse fisicamente o homem que os filmava. “Deixa ele, Gibão! Essa hora é cedo”, argumentou, para depois se dirigir ao autor do vídeo: “Você já fez o seu trabalho? Então, boa noite. Eu estou bem para ir pra casa e você está bem com o seu trabalho”.
A primeira reação de Ronaldinho, porém, deixou claro: ele sabia que já não era “cedo”. Sabia também que provavelmente seria repreendido por seu técnico, Massimiliano Allegri, como acabou sendo. Contudo, mesmo sabendo, preferiu deixar o restaurante (?) onde estava às 2h30 da manhã da véspera de um jogo importante.
Não se trata de julgar Ronaldinho. Mas o caso desta sexta é emblemático sobre suas escolhas — que são seu direito, diga-se. Com a idade (30) e o futebol que tem, o brasileiro provavelmente poderia ser, ainda, um dos melhores jogadores do mundo. Mas hoje está muito longe disso: é só um reserva do Milan.
Por que? Porque Ronaldinho Gaúcho ainda quer jogar futebol, mas não está disposto aos sacrifícios que seriam necessários para levá-lo, de novo, ao topo.
